Joe was born in a small town called Oregon, Wisconsin.  Growing up with one older brother (Carl) and sister (Lindsay) and one younger sister (Whitney) has sculpted him into the phenomenon that he is.  His love of sports started at a young age by watching his brother excel in soccer and golf in high school, this had sparked Joe's interest in these sports.  Joe started playing soccer in first grade and continued it through the winter of sixth grade.  Joe then had realized that soccer, and by playing on the bad kids team, really wasn't that appealing anymore.  Joe also started playing basketball in third grade.  Basketball was one of those sports that everybody played and then as you got older kids, slowly but surely dwindle away until you got those few all-stars and want to be all-stars.  Joe was not one of those all-stars.  Not being the fastest, quickest, best dribbler, or best shot Joe soon started to realize he had to do more than just rebound.  After freshman B-Team basketball Joe basketball career was over.  Or was it.  Junior year while sitting in the common during study hall with Jamie Maples, Joe had asked Jamie, "Hey!, have you heard of Intramural Basketball." Jamie responded "Ahh, yeah I guest."  So they put their heads together and thought of a team.  After deciding, it turns out they thought of a dream team, but had no name.  They signed the team up, consisting of Brody Olsen, Eric Lynde (the weak link of the chain), Jamie, and Joe, with the name Pokemon, which soon was smothered by the over powering name

THE DISEASED BEAVERS.

The regular season ended a few weeks later and the Beavers were 4-3.  Not the best. But in the playoffs they dominated like Andre the Giant. Beating the #1 ranked team, the Coaches, sparked their route to victory. They soon after won the Championship.  Joe is better known for football.  Starting in 7th grade at tight end and safety, then moving to wide receiver in 8th grade.  Joe played these positions because they weren't important, because Joe sucked.  Freshman year Joe had to move to line because of his size.  He had never played offensive tackle before, so once again he sucked and only played about 10 minutes total of regulation.  Sophomore year since Joe grew he started at tight side tackle on offense.  Junior year again Joe didn't start, at first.  Joe sat on the sidelines the first 4 games due to be terrible.  Then because of some bad choices Joe got his chance to shine.  After playing a great first game and helping the team get their first win Joe kept his spot the rest of the year.  Then after going 2-7 overall the Junior class (now seniors) got together and made a pact to work hard in the off season and go out in a bang.  Everybody did so.  This year the team went 6-3 overall and made it to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.  Justin "Hollywood" Halls and Joe "Captain T.V." Cuta were also interviewed by Channel 3 news.
